I love LOVE this new Ratboys song. It’s like a Silversun Pickups/Lucious Jackson(?) combo and I simply cannot stop listening to it.
Don’t sleep on the new Sydney Sprague album, it’s 21 minutes of gut-punch hooks, which is the absolute best thing.
Lots of guitars on the playlist again, been trying to decide if this is indicative of a “Rock is BACK! It never left!” trend or if it’s just the fact that tastemakers like rock music but the public at large is meh. The ascendance of Geese via Getting Killed has me maybe thinking it’s the former? Honk honk 🪿
